The Boring Rocks is not just a webcomic, but an entire WEBCOMIC EXPERIENCE! What’s that, you ask? It’s... A WEBCOMIC EXPERIENCE! That’s because The Boring Rocks is a website that contains every comic series created by the unrenowned cartoonist Evan “SG” G. There’s two main series, however. One is “The Boring Rocks,” a newspaper-style epic chronicling the life and times of Fwubo, a flappable duck. The other’s “Pippin the Newt’s Boring Community Theater,” a feature-length spinoff about Fwubo’s acquaintance Pippin and his attempts to produce quality theatre. WHAT ABOUT THE OLD SITE? Ah, an old fan. So nice to see you again! Or, rather, I can’t see you, because then I’d have to be able to use my computer like a portal to view you through, and that would indeed be creepy. But anyway, forget about the old site. Everything will slowly be moved over eventually. ABOUT THE STAFF This comic is written by a guy named Evan “SG” G. He’s marginally cool. When not writing comics, SG is usually playing video games (like Pokémon and Zelda), listening to alternative rock (like They Might Be Giants), and reading others’ comics (like Jeff Smith’s Bone). He also likes salamanders. Help on the technical side of things is provided by Mr. Joe Leone, a guy who doesn’t mind using his real name on the Internet. He’s also reasonably cool. ABOUT UPDATES TO THIS SITE The Boring Rocks is a website that is updated Thursday afternoons. This is subject to be changed in the event of exams, careers, or really awesome video game releases. Or I just may switch to Monday afternoons. But for now, Thursday. However, I'll always try to give a big update before extended leaves of absence. ABOUT READING A COMIC All of the comics appearing on this site, regardless of who appears in them, should be read like so. Start on the panel on the top left, then read right until you reach the end of a line. Then move to the next line and repeat. You laugh, but you’d be surprised how often I get asked that. ABOUT SHARING THE COMICS As Ryan North said, “Man comics are meant for sharing!” Feel free to do so. But please, don’t claim my work as your own! Also, I’d like it if I were credited, if that’s okay.
